Bost win PWDs T20 Tournament

Bost beat Amo by 9 wickets in the Final of PWDs T20 Cricket Tournament which had started on 28th July.

Having batted first, Amo scored 137/7 in the allotted 20 overs which was chased down by Bost in the 9th over of the chase. Mohammad Ashraf, Mohamadullah scored 64 and 65 runs respectively while Nazar Mohammad claimed 4 wickets in bowling department earlier. Amo’s Farid Sherzad scored 45 runs.

ACB Chairman, Atif Mashal congratulated Bost for winning the title and Amo for the runner-up position. He said that PWDs are an active part of the community and the players from these teams can go further and represent Afghanistan’s PWDs team. He further added that ACB will strive to provide further opportunities for the PWD teams and called for the assistance of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs & Disabled.

Bost’s Nazar Mohammad was declared the player of the match for his 4 wickets giving away only 14 runs off his four overs.

Mohammad Ashraf was declared as the Best Player of the Tournament for his all-round performance in the Tournament claiming 9 wickets and scoring 84 runs. Obaid Akbari was declared the Best Batsman of the competition for his 277 runs while Abdullah Lewal, who took 9 wickets in the tournament, was adjudged the Best Bowler.
